Hail, good people all!

24. Oktober 2026

Hail (an old-fashioned greeting meaning “Hello!”), good people all!

In the following, thou shalt (you shall) experience a little dive into Shakespearean language. Have fun!

These weeks gone by, a task most rare did we take up in our English class.

We began our final year of school with a creative task upon the Shakespearean age. Each of us did craft (created) museum boxes upon divers (various) aspects of the way folk lived in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries.

Thereby, we learnt a great deal about Shakespeare’s Life & Career; Power, Politics & Order; Women & Gender Roles; Shakespearean Language; Religion & the Supernatural; Social Classes; as well as Health, Disease & Death, most specifically in London.

Wouldst thou (would you) learn more of how Shakespeare doth shape the literature of our day?

Our finished works may be explored by thine own hand (your own hand), and thou shalt find them in the Big Forum!

’T would (It would) be an honour most high to have thee (you) look upon them.
